No, you don’t! Everything is taken care of online before your appointment, so you don’t need to worry about being there. When you drop your car off, one of our detailers will talk with you about your vehicle when they check you in. Then we’ll take it from there and call you when it’s finished.

Auto detailing provides many benefits. It improves your vehicle’s appearance, extends the lifespan of your car and helps with resale value. A professional detail also eliminates hazardous toxins and bacteria in the interior of your car that can harm your health.

A typical detail at Eco Car Cafe includes hand car washing, vacuuming, interior steam cleaning, window cleaning and a wax treatment. A more extensive detail includes cleaning the wheels and tires, leather and stain treatments, complete steam sanitization, and cut & buff treatment.

Many factors determine how long a detail will take, and because your time is valuable, we try hard to be on time with all our services. However, please note that all times are estimates and are not guaranteed. Depending on the package and service you select, your detail can take anywhere from 1.5 to 6 hours. For example, the Elite package takes 3-4 hours. Again, these are estimated timeframes.

We recommend a bi-annual interior/exterior detail. However, this will depend on how much you drive your vehicle and its current condition. We urge our customers to think of detailing as routine maintenance, not as a last resort!

Hand washing your car is better since there is immediate and thorough contact with the surface. When washing a car by hand, you clean panel by panel thoroughly. This process allows us to inspect and ensure that every part of the vehicle is cleaned thoroughly, giving your vehicle that ‘I just got washed’ sparkle. We recommend only hand washing your vehicle to avoid potential damage that an automated or touchless wash can cause.

Yes! At Eco Car Cafe, we offer paint correction, ceramic coating, and wash services. We also provide details for any of your vehicles – Boats, RVs, ATVs, and Planes.

Our Exclusive, Elite, and Extreme Elite detail packages include interior and exterior services.

This depends on your vehicle’s condition and your service goals. Our basic entry-level services, Eco Wash (exterior-only) and Exclusive (interior & exterior), are great packages for regular maintenance or for a quick clean. For a deep clean into all the cracks & crevices of your car, you’ll want to go with our Eco interior Detail. If you need extra care for your vehicle, we recommend our Elite or Extreme Elite package to help remove things like water marks, tree sap, or superficial scratches.

Yes! We offer mobile detailing throughout the Seattle and Bellevue areas. Add your address to the notes section on our mobile scheduling page. A destination charge will apply for locations outside our 20-mile service radius.

We require access to water and a designated safe area for us to work on your vehicle. Other than that we bring everything needed for your service.

Ceramic coating is a hydrophobic clear coat that acts as a protective shield for your vehicle. This durable yet flexible coating bonds to your vehicle’s shape, providing up to 3 times the hardness level as a typical clear coat.

We use products from a well known and trusted company called ONYX. They are global leaders in the auto care industry, serving more than 70 countries with a network of over 5000 certified ceramic installers. Eco Car Cafe has undergone training to be certified to offer ceramic coating from ONYX.

The first thing we do is prepare the surface. This requires a thorough cleaning, and in the case of exteriors, paint correction. It is important to do this so that the ceramic adheres well and to avoid trapping imperfections underneath the ceramic coating. Next, we apply the ceramic coating, sometimes in multiple layers. Finally, we let the ceramic coating cure between 2-8 hours to make sure it sets correctly.

Even though ceramic coating is proven to be a great investment in protecting your vehicle, improper care of ceramic coating can lead to early deterioration. So, follow our guidelines below to get the most out of your ceramic coating.

1. Do not wash it within the first 2 weeks. Although the ceramic coating is fully dry when it leaves our shop, depending on the number of layers and the weather conditions it can take up to 14 days to fully cure.
2. Please be careful of abrasive products and/or tools that may cause the surface of the ceramic to break down more over time. We recommend using eco-friendly products, which are better for our health and the environment anyway!
3. We recommend getting your ceramic coating rejuvenated every 6 months – 1 year. This will keep it looking great, make it easier to clean and keep it lasting longer.
