Your Eco Exterior Detail begins with a thorough rinse and hand wash, followed by an iron removal treatment, which takes away hardened contaminants stuck on your vehicle’s surface. Then we brush, wipe, and dress your wheels and tires. Next comes our clay bar treatment that removes any contaminants or pollutants still left on your vehicle. Finally, we perform a cut and buff treatment to fix micro scratches on your clear exterior coat.

How often should I book an exterior detail?
In the Pacific Northwest we usually recommend a full exterior detail every four to six months, with maintenance washes in between. Constant rain carries road film, brake dust and mineral deposits onto your paint, and the longer that sits, the more likely it is to etch into the clear coat. Cars that are parked outdoors, driven on I-5 or I-405 daily, or kept under trees generally benefit from the shorter end of that range.
What is the difference between a car wash and an exterior detail?
A car wash removes surface dirt. An exterior detail decontaminates the paint itself. Ours includes an iron-removal treatment and clay bar to lift bonded contaminants a wash cannot touch, deep-cleaned and dressed wheels and tires, steamed cracks and crevices, then a polish and two-step wax to restore gloss and add a protective layer.
Will an exterior detail remove scratches and swirl marks?
The single-stage polish included in this service softens very light marring and improves overall clarity. Deeper scratches, swirls from automatic car washes and oxidation need a dedicated multi-stage paint correction. If you want the corrected finish to last, pairing correction with a ceramic coating is the most cost-effective long-term option.
